# Account and language

> Manage your profile, sign-in methods, and interface language from the Account section of Settings.

Your personal settings live in **Settings**, under the **Account** section. To open Settings, click the workspace dropdown at the top of the sidebar and choose **Configuration**. Account settings apply to you — they follow your account, not the workspace.

## My profile

The **My profile** page holds your identity and sign-in details.

### Profile

* Update your avatar.
* Edit your full name.

### Account security

| Setting      | What it does                                                                                                                |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Email**    | Use **Change email** to update the email address on your account.                                                           |
| **Phone**    | Use **Change phone** to update your phone number.                                                                           |
| **Password** | Use **Set password** to create a password. Once set, you can sign in with email and password alongside Google or Microsoft. |

### Account management

<Warning>
  **Delete my account** permanently deletes your account. This cannot be undone.
</Warning>

## Language

The **Language** page changes the language used in the system. You can choose between **English** and **Español**. The language is also selectable at login, so you can pick it before you sign in.

  The language setting applies to the app interface for your account. Other people in the workspace keep their own language choice.

## Common tasks

### Change your password

<Steps>

    In the **Account** section, open **My profile**.

  <Step title="Set the password">
    Under account security, use **Set password**. With a password set, you can sign in with email and password as well as Google or Microsoft.
