Fail Fast gives you two complementary tools for time-based work: the Calendar in the sidebar for scheduled events and appointments, and record-level tasks for tracking follow-ups on specific records.

The Calendar

Open Calendar from the sidebar to see your workspace’s scheduled events and appointments.
  • Views — switch between day, week, work week, month, and agenda layouts.
  • Drag to reschedule — move an event to a new slot by dragging it; resize an event to change its duration.
  • Group by resource or stakeholder — group the board to compare schedules side by side.
  • Filter bar — narrow the calendar down to the events you care about.
  • Create from an empty slot — click an empty slot to create an event; the form opens prefilled with the slot’s date and time.

Reschedule an event

1

Find the event

Open Calendar and switch to the view where the event is easiest to see — week view works well for most rescheduling.
2

Drag it to the new time

Drag the event to its new slot. To change how long it lasts instead, resize the event from its edge.
3

Confirm the result

The event now shows its updated time on the calendar.

Google Calendar sync

Connect your Google account to sync events with Google Calendar. If your Google access expires, Fail Fast prompts you to sign in with Google again to restore the sync.

Tasks on records

Records can carry their own task list, so follow-ups live next to the data they belong to.

Create a task on a record

1

Open the record

Open the record from its table.
2

Switch to Tasks

Use the Tasks toggle — next to Form and Documents — to switch the record panel to its task list.
3

Add and track tasks

Create tasks attached to the record and track them as the work progresses.
Tasks are not available on custom tables created by members — only on the tables that ship with your workspace’s modules.
